Out in the sun

Today I woke up to sunshine, blue sky and 18 degree warm weather. What else to do than heading down to the small beach in the neighborhood for some sun bathing?

Just realized I got some company.

Gah!

I thought I'd finish off this today but there's so much more to it then it look. What a difference the strokes make! You can see that I deliberately put the bride in the centre ;)
Nah I really need to do something to balance this out. Enough babbling, here's the result of today's hard work.

Easter Skiing in Hemsedal

I was going to find a good blog layout but this pink one grew on me a bit so I'll just leave it this way for a while.
I'm so glad I could go skiing for the last time this season. There wasn't much snow left but they managed to gather enough to keep this resort going. Also the sunny weather is making up a bit.

This resort is quite big. They have about 3-4 chair lifts and even though half of the runs where closed due to lack of snow, there was still plenty runs left to keep us busy.

For the easter weekend, there was different events for big and small. The little guy to the left seems to enjoy the plush animal a little too much haha. I was capturing the handshake and didn't notice the other activity until I transfered the pictures to my computer.

They had a nightclub in the resort area and arranged some performances as well. BTW the whole resort was filled with party eager young Swedish.

This place is the skiing paradise when filled with loads of powder snow. Maybe something for the next season....if I'm still around that is.

Temporary fixed

Images used in my previous template gone wack. I guess this tells me that it's time to change but I can't do that for the moment coz I'm on ski-holiday. Googles' template isn't that bad at all so this will do until I get back.

I'm staying in this cute cabin right now ^^

Favourite snacks

Payaya salad! Also known as 'goi' but this is the Thai version. Haven't had this for ages and now the whole big bowl is all mine (>_<) If only I had a slightly bigger storage for that ...

Today's dinner

My brother has been telling me how tasty his local sushi restaurant is and today, finally I get the chance to verify it. So I ordered 27 pieces of sushi for us both. The plate on the right is Califonia rolls. Haha we were pratically rolling back after the meal. But he's right they were delicious! I'll return there for some more this summer. The place call Matsu Sushi and is located in Eskilstuna btw.

JJ, Vivi, Popteen,Cancam, scawaii, seventeen and more

Now I have them all in my hand, literally! I still remember the time when I had to take my monthly trip to Stockholm to get my monthly JJ that is one month old from the japanese book store.

Now I get it fresh from internet and the iPad makes it feel like I'm holding the magazin. I no longer need to collect those heavy brick, I can have them all store digitaly in my 64gb iPad.

To be continue...

Day 3. I made a misstake without noticing it. Can you see what's about to form on the right hand side?

Day 4. Noticing my misstake and did some rework. Don't know if you can spot it. Also looks like I've start too far on the left and a bit too high up. Should never have taken the scheme so litterary.

Another day in Bergen

Yesterday I tried curling for the first time of my life. Didn't know that they have it here or anywhere actually. This game is really addictive. I'll definitely try it again if I manage to find a group of people.

We headed to town for some food after the curling. I couldn't make up my mind what I want to eat. Luckily they have an alternative where I can have both chicken and ribs haha.

Totally different subject but today when I got home I saw this wonderful pink tree right at our mail box. It wasn't pink before but now it is. I guess this is another sign that it's Spring.

Gmarket haul #4

Ooops I did it again. I wasn't going to but since I got some cash from award and shipping refund from the last three haulages, that just gave me a good reason to shop again haha.

This time was super speedy. It took only a little bit more than one week from ordering to reception. One of the reason might be that I finally corrected my postcode. Could also be that I place the order in the middle of the week and nothing is blocking the road between Oslo and here haha.
As you can see from the size of the box, this is a small haulage. Aslo Gmarket has made improvement in optimizing the space in the box.

I ordered from 7 different sellers. It's easier to guess the content of the boxes this time.
First out is belts. I bought a Korean belt similar to the white one when I was in Japan years ago. This belt looks pretty much worn out so I needed a replacement. I pick an extra pink belt just because I really can't resist anything pink

Missha Perfect Cover BB cream. I really wanted to get this but the only seller who ships oversea was out of stock. Coincidently I saw another overseashipping seller got this - to a dearer price but hey I want it. It surprised me that it cames with a freebie - the green packet of wet tissue.
Browsing through youtube on eyemake tutorial, it struck me that I don't have much brushes for eyemake so I got some. Did I mention I can't resist pink stuff? Freebies where coupons (quite useless to me) and a face mask.
People uses hairbands, I use tiaras when I want to get hair out of my face. Well you know what I mean. I was meant to only get those on the righ but the seller charge 2500won in domestic shipping - that's more than what I've paid for the tiaras so I just add another 1000won or two and picked the pearl one on the left. Hair pin and hair band cames as freebie. Not bad at all. The pearly one looks quite nice.

100 Face masks! I know that's a lot but when I was at it. This time I got it from Purederm, they have more to choose from and I got 32 eyemasks as freebie. If you look closer you'll see that a few of them are for men. Those gonna be gifts to my dear brothers. ^^
Wedgie shoes. I saw a similar pair but not as nice looking as these in a local shoe shop. The price tag was outrages! These are at quite reasonable price and looks quite cool. I tried them on and they feel sooooooo comfy!
The highlight and trigger of this haul - hair straightener! My OB Nordica Björn Axen one got pretty worn out so I needed a new one. I just fell in love when I saw this one. Temperature is adjustable, like my OB Nordica one and there's a blue light in the middle telling you when it's hot enough.
I tried it out this morning and I can tell you this - you don't know that you're in hell until you've come to heaven. This pink Bella one heats up in a second, much faster than my OB Nordica. Also it's lighter and the feel is just so so much better. Straigthening hair has never been so easy and the result so perfect. This is the second OB Nordica that I own but the fact that this one cost 1/5 of what OB Nordica takes for their shit and that Korea has the same socket and voltage as Scandinavia makes it a no brainer to switch brand.

And at last, it's celebration time. My way of doing it is with a lobster dinner. Muhahahaha

BTW anyone counted how many pink item I've got this time? It's three! Almost half of the items I got is pink. ^^

My Iphone is back!

Well, not really. I got another one as you can see. A pink one wiihoo! Actually I got a refurbished one back from Apple. With the back-up in iTunes I was able to restore everything!!! From photos taken to my whole address book to apps and settings. Of course my 'C' is back as well.

Also just receive my 4th box from Gmarket today. Will post on that later.

Two things I like about Derby

It might be just me but the Indian food here is the best!
I just love the sauces and poppadoms at Viceroy that I had before the starters shown.
I'm still feeling very very very very very stuffed after the five course meal I had tonight.

ASDA actually beats Lidl in prices!
The wide collection of different goods and of course the service.
Even the toilet cleaning lady proudly announcing that she's happy to clean your toilet every hours.
Nothing can beat that really.
