Gmarket haul #1

This is the first time I buy from gmarket so I didn't order much. After reading about gmarket hauls by girls all over the world, I felt the urge to try.
It took about two and a half week from order until delivered and it came in a big box. Honestly they could have picked a smaller box to save me some shipping cost and the troublesome task finding a disposal place for the box.
Anyway I bought items from 5 different sellers so I got them in 5 small packets.

1. Ski goggles + gloves + scarf ~100 NOK
Last time when it was very windy on the top, I swore to get goggles instead of using my sunglasses. Very conviently they were sold with gloves which I also need coz mine was no near wind or water proof. The scarf was just something extra. Wonder if this is the end of the ski/snowboard season in Korea because they're on sale.

2. Colorful shoes ~130 NOK

Saw some girls performing in these kind of shoes on Korean Music shows and I impulsively felt I want a pair. They are actually a bit plateau but you can't see that from outside. Also very light.
They comes with a pair of socks and extra shoe laces as freebie.

3. Training suits ~130 NOK
This is my duck, suprise and disapointment. I was expecting a cute suit in purple and pink. Instead I got this white one. I don't think the seller sent me the wrong one but more likely that I made a mistake when I ordered it. This seller offer a lot of choices and some of them are removed because they're sold out. I didn't figure this out until later but my theory is that the ones I wanted was sold out and removed. When choosing I just matched with some of the korean characters and not all. Lessons learned and move on.
They do feel comfortable to wear but the color and the printing was just not my style. But then I seldom do exercises.

4. 2 Pair of jeans ~(40 + 160) 200 NOK
One pair of basic (crappy) jeans and one pair of quality designed jeans.
Both of them was made in Korea so I'm pleased. I order both in same size 26. The basic one felt hard and a bit small or it's tightening into me. While the quality one felt good strecthy and fits perfectly around my body. Well you get what you're paying for so no complaints.

5. Iphone 4 cases (100 + 50 + 50) ~ 200 NOK
At the time I placed this order, I only had one basic Iphone 4 case so I guess I need a few more.
The pink shoe ones is the most expensive but also the one I like most. I first saw it on Fokis blog used by her boyfriend and I thought it looks cool. I wasn't looking for it but when I recognized it on gmarket and they have it in pink I just can't resist.

The silicon feels good in my hand and all the buttons are easily accessible. It comes with a screen protection thing that I didn't bother to use and a very useful screen wipe cloth.
I haven't open the other 2 cases yet so I can't write about them.
The freebies here is an extra screen protective film and a bunch of online voucher for downloading stuffs. Unfortunately they're all in Korean and I haven't figure out how to use them yet.

Overall I'm quite satisfied with ordering from gmarket and will soon place my next order. I need to structure out what items I want and make sure I've tick in them right.

Caught the last one

When you least expected it, it's there! Wasn't expecting that they would have lobster today since they didn't the last few times I was there. How lucky am I to catch the last one they got? Wiiihoo!

Tea time!

Being away means I've deliberately left my fridge empty and it will still be that way until I 'get my thumb out of my ass' (scandinavian proverb) and go to the supermarket.
So instead of having breakfast, I'll have tea.

I hope these are as tasty as they're cute. Found them in ASDA (I'm liking this supermarket more and more) the other day.

My long awaited birthday gift

The Project started in November as an idea. Supplier research made in December and purchasing was carried out in the begining of January. Manufacturing part tooks a little more time than planned because of design change and complexity of process. Then when it was ready for delivery the customer wasn't available to sign for goods reception.
Now it's finally tested and approved by customer.

As a customer I must say it was worth the wait. I like it very much.
To my producers - Thanks for the handmade Iphone case!

Dimsum and Bath

I'm currently on one of the most inspiring and productive courses I've had so far. A course where I feel I've learned something new. So far I'm enjoying this so much that it doesn't feel like work.
We were so into the simulation that I totally lost myself. I need to appologize to somebody tomorrow.

Usually when I'm over here my working days are so long that when I got back to hotel I only have time to do the necessary thing and then colapsed into bed. Today is one of the rare occassions where I actually got an hour to spare for relaxing. So I tested the bath tube.

I feel totally re-freshed and ready for early bed since tomorrow is going to start very early.

Today I accidentally found a Dimsum restaurant, in Derby??!! The restaurant I'm talking about is Water Margin and as time went by, it's slowly filled with chineses.
The Dimsum was ok, the service was good and the price is in the low end of middle. They speak both Mandarin and Cantonese. I'll definitely return to this place to try out other dishes.

I want!

The walls in my 'appartment' look quite empty and covering them with paintings had never appealed to me. Being introduced to the wall decos since I saw them at a friends place led me to this section at gmarket and I absolutely love what I found.
The question then is the price.
They're still fairly reasonable comparing to what I get in this side of the world but still,
they're very pricey stickers - specially the really good ones.
With Valentine's day not far behind,
I unconciously looked on the one with love message.
I'm particullary interested in putting up something on the wall behind my widescreen telly.
Maybe something in this fashion.
What d'ya reckon?

One reason to stay in Norway

What a lovely day!
Yesterday I felt trapped and lazy. When I'm in that mood I feel like doing something drastic.
This time I decided to test the skis I bought the other day. Said and done, woke up at 7 AM this morning and arrived at Voss ski resort at half nine. Had a good three hours skiing with sunshine, blue sky and hardly any wind.

The road was fun to drive on. Forming a high speed train with other cars heading the same route, one can feel the enthusiasm.
Got back around 3 PM. Warm shower and a good meal. What a good day. What a good idea. And now movie and a glass of white.

Breakfast with view

I'm quite amazed that I manage to dozed off on a small 2-sit sofa until 5AM this morning. So I decided to make it up for myself with my family traditional breakfast - poridge with salted fried Salmon.

Looks like Spring is on it's way. I quite like my kitchen table view on one of these days where the sky is blue and the sun is out

Cuties

Spotted these at supermarket in Dunfermline. I so wish to have the Hello Kitty one as my Birthday cake.

Talking about Hello Kitty, this one followed me home instead of the cake since it's easier to travel with a cushion than a cake.

From Scottland with love

Never would I guess I'll be spending this Chinese New Year in Scottland. By the way:

The Scottish weather has been like Bergen, rainy, windy and miserable. The people are quite nice, although you need to focus intensively to get what they say. What I like most is the ASDA supermarket 'next door' to where I stay. It opens 24 hrs! It's huge and low price. I love their selection of birthday cakes (I'll post some photos when I'm back home).
Oh yeah here's my Chinese New Year dinner:
Thanks to SAS I arrived at 8:30 PM instead of the planned 2:30 PM. The food was delicious but this wasn't just what I had in mind for a CNY dinner.
