After all the good food...

I've noticed that I've been posting rather much food pics lately. The worst is - I've been eaten all that and MORE. Sadly here's the result of my two and a half week in Sweden. (T_T)

LOL!

More Food!

One of the last meals in Sweden this summer is a noodle sallad call "Bun Bo Nuong". Literally it means noodle with grill beef, which is exactly what it is. The secret is the sauce with base of the Vietnamese fish sauce.

Crossing over to Norway we decided to change to something more Norwegian or rather more sea food - like Seafood.

Banh Cang

My absolut favorit dish number 1. A simple cake made from rice flour and egg. Grill in a special made brick oven imported all the way from Vietnam. The cake itself doesn't taste much but required a delicious sauce or rather soup to make it tasty. In Vietnam you can find it in any market with different soups to choose. However my choice is a mixture between the red soup and Mam Nem.

Vingåker Factory Outlet

Went on a small shopping trip to VFO today. Was quite disapointed about the clothes collection. On the other hand I found a nice shoe shop in the same area.

Pho

The famous Vietnamese dish you can't miss out if you happen to visit Vietnam. "My" version (on the left side) is quite simple because there's not much vegetable that I like comparing to the "full version" (on the right).

Banh Trang Cuon

While I'm staying at my mom's I should introduce some of my favorites Vietnamnese dishes. First out is Banh Trang Cuon or also know as Spring Rolls, which is really the chinese version and slightly different. Every family has it's own version of this dish. This is how ours looks like.

On tour

It's been a year since I've done these kind of small trips. Feels quite nostalgic. Something's change but most of it was almost the same as I left it last time. Food doesn't seems to be as tasty as in my memories. It's like travelling back in time an find the view not as colorful as in the photo.

It's been a long day

Barely alive after the long trip. My head felt like a bad hang over. I really admire people who has driving as their profession. At least the scenery was nice. Like this resting place along the road which I stayed for 2 minutes.

Well arrived in Sweden I could swear that I'm in a tropical country. It's 30 degrees here which is why I'm still up bloging instead of sleeping! Even through I'm dead tired, I can't sleep because it's too hot!
I should really be careful with what I wish for coz it might not turn out to be the way I imagined it. (>_<)

Official on Holiday

Today and three weeks forward I'll have all time in the world. Actually I regret a bit not to plan or book any trip abroad. But I really should enjoy the Swedish summer for once.
Today's plan was packing but I haven't started yet. Wonder how I'll endure the 11 hours of driving tomorrow. I hope the sun will follow me all the way.

Anger management

Don't remember the last time I lost my temper. Showing my anger straight out. Nowadays all I feel is disapointment. People who can remain their calm is considered civilized around here.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder if venting out your anger would make you feel better? All the emotions suppressed inside can't be good for your heart?
Wouldn't you like to ask your boss to go to hell? Or kick that bloodly cheating bastard where it hurt the most? Telling that annoying old lady to shut the fuck up?
I'm watching a Kdrama call "That Fool". The main character guy is the "fool". He is so nice that no matter how people treat him (yelling, hitting, humilating...) he never defend himself. He doesn't argue back or get even. Just standing there like a statue and smile. I can't help but wondering if such a character exists in real life?
To me he's like a dish without any flavors. He won't get angry, jealous, bored or sad.
