"Dream comes trues"

Most of you out there knows that a Dejavu is when you're in a familiar situation that had never happened to you before. It just feels that you knew it would happen before it happened but you know it afterwards. Do I make any sense? Well what I want to share today is something a little bit similar to the Dejavu, I'll just call it Dream comes trues.
Our first flat in Sweden was dull, grey and square. It's a typical 80s buildning. One Easter when I walked around knocking on doors I came to a beautiful white appartment area. Opening the port, I remembered looking at the risted word "kuk" (really bad swedish word btw) above the handle. Walking up the clean and fresh staircases I remembered thinking "this is where I want to live". Didn't think much afterwards when I left the building. Several years after, mom told me that we're going to move to a bigger flat. Guess which one we moved into!
Incidents like that keeps happening to me since. Sometimes I really believe that if I'd just wish for something, I'll get it eventually. The feeling when it happens is marvelous, feels like a cool breeze touching me on a hot summer day.

Oktoberfest

Once every year there's a beer party in Ålesund called Oktoberfest. I remember somebody mentioned this to me last year but I never found out when or where or I just didn't go in the end.
This year I somehow fell into it. It was a bit different and fun, well the fun depends on who you go there with.
Orchestra playing germanish music on stage. Serving beer in big cruse and meaty meal.

And the guest should dress up in the same theme. If I were better prepare I would get the costume.

The wait

A few minutes really means a lot. Have been sitting at the garage for a while now just because somebody was blocking the toilet when I was in a hurry this morning. Had I arrived 15mins earlier then I would have wait 1h less. Queues should be forbidden!

There's sunshine after rain

Yesterday was terrible. I now understand why those who frequently travel between Derby and Norway don't take the route I took.

The first 2 flights were alright, it's the third one that's hell. The airport was fairly big, the transfer time was tight and on top of that, the check in personells couldn't find my flight number even thought it was on the print out I showed them. Running through the security check and all the way to catch the flight, I was exhausted.
Arriving in Derby at hotel, the lady at the reception told me that she has given my room to another guest and she have to move me to a lower standard hotel across the street - for almost the same price! Seven hours travel, I was hungry and tired. Pissing off just took the last ounce of enery I got left. I finally got her to make sure that I have a room there for tomorrow and start walking with my luggage to the sleazy hotel.
Sleeping makes wonders, even though the bed smelled food. The work went well. It's quite weird, to start working right away with a bunch of ppl you haven't met or known.
Back to check in to the hotel I was supposed to be in already.
Dropped my stuff and out hunting for food. Which was a good idea because I found this.
It's a shopping mall and I ended up with all this.
...and some yummie stuff for the road (not alcohol!). As I was browsing the clothes shops I saw sizes up to 20! Looking at the range of cookies, candies and sweets the supermarket has to offer, I'm not surprise that those sizes are needed.
Something I've noticed is that strangers in the street, at the mall, the taxi driver ect keep calling me "love" and "darling". Why?

The raining town - Bergen

So this is my second time here. Last time it rained a bit. This time it's raining a lot. Conclusion - yup it's true, this is the rainiest town in Norway.
I seemed to have end up in a funky room with a touch of 70s? Anyway love this chair though, wish I could bring it back home.

I got advices from a collegue to go for a delicious fish soup from this nice famous restaurant on the second floor. When I went there and checked, it turned out that the soup my collegue had when he stayed here came from the not so known restaurant next door to the one he thought he got it from. Should I tell him that? It's actually just a soup with fish balls, if you trust the descriptions. Not a fan of Norwegian fish balls, I skipped that advice.
My Iphone is more trust worthy when it comes to finding good places to eat. Not feeling for bounching left and right in the storm I went for a close by American food place - TGI Friday. All tables were fulled so they offer me a bar table which is quite suitable for a quick dinner for one.
If you're ever wondering why it's hard to find service minded waitresses/waiters in Sweden well let me enlight you - They've all migrated to Norway. This is the second restaurants out of three in big towns like Bergen and Trondheim that I've got taken good care of by lovely swedish waitresses. This proves another thing - if you want your staff to be happy, just raise their salaries!

These are what I found on my desk at office today.
 A big red lobster
and
a bunch of crabs
A collegue has been out fishing and gave me a part of his catch. How nice of him!
