Journey to the far east - part 1

Just came home yesterday - well depending on the definition of 'home'. Got back to Norway from Sweden yesterday anyway. Flew there from Beijing 2 days before. Strangely, I'm still jetlagging....or just tired - from the travelling and weaked by the cold I catched a few days ago.
NEway first part is Beijing. We stayed there for 5 days and the main topic is: Food and Beauty.
We left on christmas eve and kind of celebrated at Shiphold airport by posing next to a christmas tree.

We was quite hungry when we landed in Beijing in the afternoon of christmas day and decided that our first meal in China should be Dim Sum - a famous 24 hours open Dim Sum place in Chaoyang.

In Beijing I encountered my first love - the sweet potato! Like an oasis in the middle of the frozen sea, sold by mummies.

Also found a new love - Ajisen Ramen

A hot pot heaven where you can get your nails done for free while waiting

On the day of photo shooting, I found a satifying breakfast for 10 yuan

There's no way you can leave Beijing without trying it's famous duck

Ticking the duck off the list we turned to the taiwanese kitchen represented by Bellagio

While we were in the neighbourhood, why not have a taste of the cantonese cuisine besides Dim Sum.

Before leaving for Xian we gave the chinese impression of japanese meal. It was quite ok but not as good as the genuine ones I had in Japan.
