Virtual tour....

...of my new place!

Finally 95% is in place and it really feels like home now.

First out is the bedroom. Originally the walls were totally white and full of ugly holes so we re-painted it in purple to give the room some cosyness.

But I didn't want it to appear too gloom so I picked white furnitures and curtains.

It's the details that make the room interesting ^^

The living room combined kitchen was bright white as well originally and felt quite clinical.
It's a vast space so I divided it up and give each of the section its own personality.
I want the living / sofa area to be spacey and classic.

While for the dining area I want a more cozy coffee shop feel.

For the kitchen, I want it to be bright with a summer feel.

I've always wanted a walk'in closet but at the same time I need a guest room so I guess I made a compromise. The daybed is functioning most of the time as a working space when I'm choosing out clothes.
When I've got guests, it will turn into a 160cm double bed.

 My everyday workshop =)

Bath room.

The hall is where I still got work left to do.

2 months worth of work!!!

What do you do when you can't sleep?

I assemble chairs.

It's not because I'm particulary good at it, on the contrary I suck at all kind of handy works.
This one took me 2 hours to do and I've still not figure out how to finish it.
Let's hope I can fall asleep now at least.

I love PINK

Ice cream or Parfait as they call it in Japan. Handmaded and served by a maid as Maidcafe in Osaka

I love the way they do manicure in Japan. So many layers and so perfectly made. I still got them now three weeks later, none has disapear but unfortunately it doesn't cover the whole surface anymore.

Flowers I received today.

Sneak peak of my new home

After being a homeless nomad for over a month, I've finally moved in to my new aquired flat.
Assembling the furniture and equipment bit by bit is really frustruating but if I don't get it right I'm just going to be annoyed for the rest of my stay in this place.
Although I wish that there was a guide with lessons learned when furnituring a house. I bet the mistakes I've done has been made by loads of others.

You can't imagine how much effort has been put into getting this corner in place!

Super Dog

I've got some mixed feelings about pet clothes. Logically they shouldn't need clothes but some clothes for pet are just so cute. The ones below are really on the edge of creativity and maybe could be consider a bit bizarre!
Never the less these can be aquired from Gmarket. This ad almost made me choke on my morning coffee.
